NHG Candidate REWARDS Program

Purpose:
To show appreciation to our best candidates (based on successful engagements) for contributing to the success of NHG.

Program Outline:
After completion of one successful engagement a $100 cash award will be sent to the candidate.

An additional $100 cash award will be sent to the candidate after completion of every successful engagement thereafter.

A successful engagement is one where the NHG candidate remains in the engagement until the client no longer has the need and receives a good reference from his/her supervisor.

Home Health Agency Administrator

Medicare certified Florida Home Health agency needs an interim Home Health Administrator. Very busy homecare agency with many medically complex patients. ADC is 750 (10-15 admits daily) and approx. 600 admissions per month. Agency provides PT, OT, ST and RT services as well as Nursing ant Tele-health. Approx. 15 direct reports to this position.

The interim Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the agency including maintenance of procedures and patient care policies, survey requirements, collaboration with key leaders and improving quality outcome measures.

Seeking candidates that have multi-branch experience, are strong, dynamic administrators always available and visible. RN required, FL licensed preferred. Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred.

Pharmacy Manager

Seeking an interim Pharmacy Manager for small hospital in California. The interim Manager will focus on assessing the department, policies, procedures and protocols and mentor staff (10 direct reports). The qualified Pharm Mgr will be a seasoned leader with at least 5 years recent full time hospital pharmacy experience with at least 2 years in management position, be knowledgeable and current with all requirements, regulations and surveys. California pharmacy license required.

Chief Human Resources Officer

A medium size, TJC accredited hospital is seeking an interim Chief Human Resources Officer. Ten FTEs report to this position. Two unions. They are working towards a new structure for the department. No anticipated surveys. The interim CHRO will focus on coordinating employee relations/conflict resolution issues; an action plan for employee engagement; and team building. Seeking a seasoned healthcare HR leader with a solid background as CHRO in a hospital. Must have successfully served as CHRO in a hospital. SPHR and Masters required. Located in the Pacific Northwest home to a variety of outdoor activities, museums and lakes.

Plant Operations Director

An interim Plant Operations Director is needed to oversee a large campus that encompasses a Critical Access hospital and multiple Doctor’s Office buildings. There are 4 departments and 20 employees that report to this Director. Staff is dedicated, friendly and needs mentoring and guidance to achieve full potential. Over all maintenance is good. Issues/Duties to address include working efficiently; establish a program to improve communication processes with each other and vendors/customers; facilitate work orders and work with Regulatory Compliance. State survey due. The qualified candidate must have extensive hospital experience, experience is paramount, and excellent communication skills. Bachelor degree a plus.

ED, Behavioral Health, Transitional Care Director

Interim Director of Emergency Department, Behavioral Health and Transitional Care is needed for a 200 bed; TJC accredited Level II Trauma Center in the upper Northwest. Areas of responsibility include the ED, Adult Behavioral Health, Adolescent Behavioral Health, Outpatient Behavioral Health and a Transitional Care Unit. There are 8-10 direct reports and approx. 100 FTEs, non-union. TJC is due. The interim Dir will work on reinforcing the shared governance model; staff engagement; growing the leadership team; patient engagement in the ED; and collaboration with providers. Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding behavioral health is needed. Experience in diad model. RN required. Masters preferred. Interim or interim-to-permanent candidates considered.

A mid-sized unionized TJC accredited hospital in upper east coast area is looking for interim Nursing Home Administrator. SNF is 120 bed, ADC 108-110 with 100+ FTEs. This NHA must be visible. Understand Department of Health requirements as survey is upcoming. Change management is needed.

NHA license is required and must be a competent and independent leader who brings regulatory knowledge.

Critical Care Leader

A TJC accredited, urban, unionized, medium size hospital in New England is looking for an interim Critical Care Leader. The Critical Care Unit has 16 Medical ICU, Wound Care and dialysis. No transplants and low acuity patients, this is not a trauma center. This leader must be in scrubs and on the floor. Key initiative is TJC preparation for upcoming survey.

Critical Care Certification, RN and BSN required.

Master preferred and Lean Six-Sigma experience would be a plus.

Emergency Department Leader

A medium size, urban, unionized TJC accredited hospital on the Atlantic coast is looking for an interim Emergency Department Leader. This ED has 19 bays, 9 bed Fast Track with approximately 60,000 annual visits. This is not a trauma center and has no peds. This leader must be hands on with an understanding of evidence-based practices and processes. This leader must understand regulatory TJC and Department of Health requirements

BSN and RN license required, Masters preferred.

ENA membership and experience in Lean Six-Sigma would be a plus.

Nurse Manager Adult Behavioral Health

Large, Midwest, TJC accredited hospital seeks an interim Nurse Manager for Adult Behavioral Health. This is a 24 bed (ADC 20) unit with semi-private rooms, locked unit for acute psychiatric adult patients. No Chem Dependency. Gero Psych under different manager. Nurses work 12 hour shifts. Two unions, contracts signed, labor relations experience important. No anticipated surveys. The interim Manager will need to hold staff accountable, lead by example, focus on safety issues and be available to receive calls or texts for an event (rarely happens). RN and BSN required. Good behavioral health leadership experience is important.

Environmental Services Director

Interim Environmental Services Director needed to serve a 50-bed hospital and three associated buildings located in the northwest. The need is to improve the cleanliness of all areas. There is a staff of 25 with 6 housekeepers on days, evenings and nights and 4 on weekends. Currently in union contract negations.

The interim EVS Dir will need to have:
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare cleanliness standards
  • Ability to empower and educate staff and hold accountable
  • Go on rounds to inspect sites
  • EVS experience is most important; knowledge of standards and regulations and have expertise in this field
  • Union experience desired
  • REH certification is ideal
  • Must have EVS management experience in hospital / healthcare
