Environmental Services Director

Interim Environmental Services Director needed to serve a 50-bed hospital and three associated buildings located in the northwest. The need is to improve the cleanliness of all areas. There is a staff of 25 with 6 housekeepers on days, evenings and nights and 4 on weekends. Currently in union contract negations.

The interim EVS Dir will need to have:
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare cleanliness standards
  • Ability to empower and educate staff and hold accountable
  • Go on rounds to inspect sites
  • EVS experience is most important; knowledge of standards and regulations and have expertise in this field
  • Union experience desired
  • REH certification is ideal
  • Must have EVS management experience in hospital / healthcare

Large, California hospital needs an interim Lab Manager. Lab is open 24/7 and provides all the standard services. There are approx. 40 employees, unionized. Interim Manager with union experience is a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Case Management Director

Seeking an interim Case Management Director for a 150 bed, urban, TJC accredited hospital located in the northeast. The case management department has just been restructured. The Director has a staff of at least 10. Some staff work in teams and some are unionized. Ratio of 25 patients to one 2-person team. In window for TJC survey. Seeking a very experienced CM Dir who knows content well, familiar with disciplinary issues, will lead by example and uphold the new changes and competencies. A degree is preferred but flexible for strong candidate expertise is most important. Potential for temp-to-perm conversion.

Chief Nursing Officer

Large, general acute care, TJC accredited hospital in central Maine seeks an interim Chief Nursing Officer. The interim CNO will oversee three directors, and two managers. Nursing staff consists of approx. 700 and make up $100 million of the employee budget. Unionized. The interim will mentor staff, work with the Studer Group, be the support and stable hand needed for nursing unit and improve nursing office procedures. Using Cerner. The best candidate will be a seasoned, experienced CNO with a Masters.

Pharmacy Network Vice President

Do you have more than 15 years of Pharmacy business experience? Your expertise is needed at a company owned pharmacy in Missouri specializing in Respiratory and Diabetes medications. They seek an interim Pharmacy Network Vice President. There are approx. 55 employees, including 3 full-time and 1 part-time Pharmacist. VP will work closely with Managers. They do around $25 million in annual business. Currently in expansion mode. The need is for an operations expert who has knowledge of home infusion and is strong in strategically building product lines and increasing business. Must have knowledge in coordinating pharmacy, physicians and home health. Pharmacist not required, but welcomed. Relevant background in developing pharmacy business product lines is most important. A successful and accomplished leader may have the opportunity to work on site or virtually (from 20-70%). Must have a Bachelor degree.

Case Management Director

A 120 bed TJC accredited, non union, community hospital is in need of an interim Case Management Director. This position has 17 direct reports. The Director will continue to mentor the team and help them advance to the next level. Will be responsible for the Utilization Management department. The interim Dir will implement provided plan for UM to interface more with patient financial services and maximize efficiencies through documentation. Must understand Maryland’s model of pay for performance and care coordination delivery system. In window for surveys. The qualified individual will be a very experienced Director of Case Management, strategic regarding operations and efficiencies. Care Management certification a plus. Does not have to be an RN.

Director of Nursing

Critical Access hospital in CA has an associated SNF in need of an interim Director of Nursing. This is a 125 bed Skilled Nursing Facility with an ADC of 80. There are 100 employees, mostly CNA’s and 4 direct reports. The facility is in good financial standing with few problems. Just rolled out a new computer system (NTT). The interim will focus on implementing resident care practices and policies, create a just culture and assist with plan to improve morale. Must be an RN with a California license with SNF experience.

Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator

Interim Administrator, Skilled Nursing Facility is needed for a Critical Access Hospital in CA that has an associated 125 bed SNF, with an ADC of 75. There are about 100 employees mostly CNA's. The Administrator oversees the DON, Maintenance, Medical Records, Social Services and Dietary. Medical backup is through the hospital and Medical Director. Prefer an RN, experience in nursing care administration is most important. Must be licensed in at least one state and must be willing to take the California NHA test.

Human Resources Director

Seeking an interim Human Resources Director for a medium size, Midwest, TJC accredited, nfp hospital. Oversee a team of 7, two managers are direct reports. The interim HR Leader will provide oversight of compensation and benefits, mentor, work on projects/department goals, review turnover and address nursing shortage. The ideal candidate will be a strong Human Resources Generalist, analytical, a good communicator and compensation knowledge. Bachelors degree and 5-7 years human resources experience is required. Masters degree preferred. Non-union experience preferred.

Chief Executive Officer

A DNV accredited, Critical Access hospital in California is seeking an interim Chief Executive Officer. There are 20+ acute care beds including ICU with an ADC of 7 plus a 20 bed skilled nursing unit with and ADC of 20 and a rural clinic serving approx. 2,000 patients a month. A small OR performs primarily Ortho and scopes, the ED sees in excess of 700 patients a month. The CEO currently has six direct reports. Non-union. The interim CEO will focus on negotiating a loan for building the new Emergency Department. The qualified individual will be an experienced CEO who has excellent interpersonal skills, embraces a culture of excellence, study current services and advise on how to move forward. Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic experience is a must.
