Clinics Nurse Manager

Great opportunity with a growing healthcare provider. Newly formed permanent position of Clinics Nurse Manager to handle their changing and expanding clinics. This manager will oversee 3 very busy clinics. One is rural health and two specialty services. CMS accredited. All together there are 25-30 providers, physicians, NP and PA’s and approx. 15-20 FTEs.

Candidate Profile
  • BSN preferred, will consider Associates degree with a minimum 2 years of experience in hospital and/or clinics.
  • Colorado licensed RN
  • 3-5 years of multispecialty medical clinic management experience
  • Experienced and proficient in EMR

Perinatal Services Manager

A 100+ bed hospital in the Midwest needs a permanent Perinatal Services Manager. This includes Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, Nursery and a Pediatric area total of 40 beds. All areas but Pediatrics are usually full. Average 120 deliveries per month, 12 hour shifts and an all RN staff, non-union, with 70 direct reports. Medical coverage is 24/7 by hospitalists and midwives and private physicians.

The new Perinatal Manager will address current care issues; work on data, action plans and corrective actions. In process of going Magnet. The department is in need of stability in management.

Quality Outcomes and Accreditation Director

Midwest, 100+ staffed bed, faith-based, nfp, TJC accredited community teaching hospital is in need of a permanent Quality Outcomes and Accreditation Director. This position oversees Quality/PI, Patient Satisfaction and Infection Control and assures compliance with hospital strategies, goals and objectives. There are 6 to 7 direct reports, non-union. Key focus will be on external Regulatory Agency compliance activities with Joint Commission, CMS and Leap Frog and coordinating hospital-wide preparation for Joint Commission. Assure hospital staff education on concepts and tools to support Performance Improvement and external agency compliance. Analyze PI data, including Medical Staff Peer review. Serve as Patient Safety Officer, including Risk Management and Patient Safety activities.

Must bring director level experience preferably in an LTAC. Strong, collaborative leader who motivates staff and works well with doctors. Serve as a resource to staff, a working Director position, will occasionally need to take a case load. Assist with family conflict resolution; understand LTC dynamics, regulatory (CMS) and Patient Rights. RN required, CA RN preferred to start or hired contingent on getting license. Certification preferred, but will consider an MSW candidate.

Medicare certified Florida Home Health agency needs a permanent Home Health Administrator. Very busy homecare agency with many medically complex patients. ADC is 750 (10-15 admits daily) and approx. 600 admissions per month. Agency provides PT, OT, ST and RT services as well as Nursing and Tele-health. Approx. 15 direct reports to this position.

The interim Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the agency including maintenance of procedures and patient care policies, survey requirements, collaboration with key leaders and improving quality outcome measures.

The Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the department, including monthly and year-end financial statements. Large, Illinois hospital needs a permanent Occupational / Employee Health Director to serve the hospital and local businesses. Services provided include immunizations, blood / lab work, drug screening, finger printing, foreign travel, pre-employment physicals, worker’s comp and wellness checks. Approximately 4,000 served, with 1,500-2,000 active at any one time. The Director will be part of team focusing on business development.
