Med/Surg/Tele Director

Permanent Director of Medical / Surgical and Tele Units is needed at a 250+ bed hospital. Med / Surg is a 40-bed unit and Tele is also 40 beds. They typically run 65-70 ADC between the two and can spike to 80. Average stay is 3 days. Approximately 120 staff made up of RNs and NAs working 12-hour shifts. Shared Governance and Unit Based Council models are used to engage staff in decision making. No surveys expected. The interim Director will address poor patient satisfaction scores, infection issues and provide staff guidance and teamwork.

Must be a visible leader willing to do rounds to assess unit needs (includes night shift), a collaborator with excellent communication skills. RN required. Experience is key.

Located in rural Rocky Mountain region with mountains, lakes, national and pine forests. Very community centered region, people are friendly and helpful.

Home Health Agency Administrator

Medicare certified Florida Home Health agency needs a permanent Home Health Administrator. Very busy homecare agency with many medically complex patients. ADC is 750 (10-15 admits daily) and approx. 600 admissions per month. Agency provides PT, OT, ST and RT services as well as Nursing and Tele-health. Approx. 15 direct reports to this position.

The interim Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the agency including maintenance of procedures and patient care policies, survey requirements, collaboration with key leaders and improving quality outcome measures.

Seeking candidates that have multi-branch experience, are strong, dynamic administrators always available and visible. RN required, FL licensed preferred. Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred.

The Manager oversees the daily operations of Medical Oncology Services, including program development, staff hiring, policies and procedures and education. This position must also work with scheduling, budgets, regulatory compliance and collaboration with providers, in addition to providing coverage for the Radiation Oncology Manager in their absence. Large, Illinois hospital needs a permanent Occupational / Employee Health Director to serve the hospital and local businesses. Services provided include immunizations, blood / lab work, drug screening, finger printing, foreign travel, pre-employment physicals, worker’s comp and wellness checks. Patient Care Services Director

A Director of Patient Care Services is needed on a permanent basis for a 150+ bed, faith-based, not-for-profit, TJC accredited community teaching hospital in the Chicago area. They have restructured the Patient Care Services and will be building a new facility in a few years. Four direct reports including Tele/ICU, ED, Perinatal Services and Psych. Over 400 employees with some entry level staff represented by Union. No upcoming surveys.

Expectations/Goals
  • Responsible for success of several committees: ED throughput, Patient Satisfaction and Falls Rate/Safety Component

Behavioral Health Director

A TJC accredited healthcare system in central Wisconsin is seeking a permanent Director for their Behavioral Health Services. Specializing in mental health and substance abuse for adults and youth (13+ years). Services include MMT (medially monitored treatment), Ambulatory Detox, Crisis CBRF and Crisis Services Program. The 16 bed inpatient unit (locked). There are 3-4 direct reports to the Director. Recently the facility has started working with a local college and will have a residency program that will be working with the behavioral units and other programs. Their programs are growing. This is an opportunity to take a growing organization to the next level. The Director will provide a strong presence and build relationships with physicians and staff.

An RN with Masters degree and leadership experience in mental health and /or substance abuse is required. Full benefit package included along with relocation allowance.

Nurse Manager, Patient Navigation

This is your opportunity to shine! Showcase your skills and expertise as a Nurse Manager of Patient Navigation at a new treatment facility that is a destination center for oncology care. Patient Navigators provide personal guidance to patients as they move through the heath care system. This is a non-union facility. This role will provide oversight, management, will be integral in building and launching the program and communicating with the different services. There will be approx. 20 direct reports including RN Navigators and Coordinators. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requires a Florida licensed RN with a minimum of a Bachelor degree, Master degree is strongly desired, at least 5 years in nursing, 3 years of oncology experience and 2 years of management experience. Ideally the candidate will have experiences in performance improvement, data systems, and patient navigation. Does not require an Oncology Certification for the interim position, but a candidate interested in the permanent position would have to get certified within two years.
