Clinical Nurse Specialist, Educator

A Clinical Nurse Specialist, Educator is needed at a new, state-of-the-art Florida Cancer Center. This role is an advanced practice nurse, who is an expert in a specialty patient population. The CNS competencies focus around three spheres of influence. The CNS is expected to produce quality, cost-effective outcomes via these spheres of influence. Will develop evidence-based care guidelines, work with the healthcare team, develop staff and participate in the prevention or resolution of disease-based symptoms, functional problems and risk behaviors.

BSN and Florida RN license required. MSN preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience as an RN. Oncology experienced and ICU experience preferred. Program development and education experience strongly preferred.Benefits package included. Center is located near the beach.

Professional Nursing Practice Director

Newly opened, state-of-the-art Cancer treatment center needs a Professional Nursing Practice Director. This role serves as an internal consultant. Responsibilities include – assessing, planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the quality and practice of nursing practice. The director will collaborate with nursing executives to develop and implement strategic nursing performance improvement plans as required for Magnet designation or for the commission on cancer and other accrediting bodies. Director will provide oversight, management and be integral in building the program. The new Dir will use the concepts of participative management to plan, innovate, coordinate, direct and evaluate nursing services. Ensure that care is provided within the philosophy and objectives as well as policies and procedures of the institute and maintain nursing care standards across the continuum. Will be fiscally responsible in the allocation of available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe and compassionate care.

Nurse Manager, Patient Navigation

This is your opportunity to shine! Showcase your skills and expertise as a Nurse Manager of Patient Navigation at a new treatment facility that is a destination center for oncology care. Patient Navigators provide personal guidance to patients as they move through the heath care system. This is a non-union facility. This role will provide oversight, management, will be integral in building and launching the program and communicating with the different services. There will be approx. 20 direct reports including RN Navigators and Coordinators. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requires a Florida licensed RN with a minimum of a Bachelor degree, Master degree is strongly desired, at least 5 years in nursing, 3 years of oncology experience and 2 years of management experience. Ideally the candidate will have experiences in performance improvement, data systems, and patient navigation. Does not require an Oncology Certification for the interim position, but a candidate interested in the permanent position would have to get certified within two years. Telemetry Nurse Manager

Qualified individual will be a Hawaii licensed RN, BSN (Masters preferred), 5+ years Telemetry and management experience, union experience, will have an authoritative and democratic management style and BLS/HCP certification. Studer experience would be a plus.

A TJC accredited, not-for-profit, faith based hospital in MO is looking for a PERM Nurse Leader Inpatient Behavioral Health. This position reports to the Executive Director, with a total of 90 employees in the department. Inpatient health consists of adolescent thru geriatric, and an ECT program. This is a locked unit. Diagnoses of bipolar, schizophrenia, post traumatic stress and some dual diagnosis. There are 2-3 Psychiatrists on staff, Clinical Nurse Leaders, RNs, Psych Techs and Social Workers. PI and Qlty Manager

Performance Improvement and Quality Manager is needed for a Joint Commission accredited, critical access hospital in the state of Alaska. Reporting to the Director of Performance Improvement, you will be responsible for the PI and Quality function at the CAH, a large primary care clinic and 11 small rural clinics. Access to all clinics is via plane. You will work closely with the very supportive, quality focused Medical Director in addition to facilitating committees including TJC, Performance Improvement, Patient Safety and Core Measures.

  • RN is preferred

A large, TJC accredited, nfp, faith based hospital is in need of a permanent Case Management Director. This position is responsible for case management and for the robust labor and delivery program. The seasoned leader will focus on building morale and reducing LOS. Will also address efficiencies; improve documentation, appropriate in-patient and out-patient designation and denial management. In the process of installing EPIC software. There is 25+ staff in department.

Louisiana RN license required. Bachelors degree required. InterQual and Milliman experience required. EPIC experience would be a plus. At least 5 years experience as a Director of Case Management.

Chief Executive Officer

Critical access hospital seeks a PERM Chief Executive Officer. In addition to the 22 bed hospital, the CEO is also responsible for an Outpatient Clinic. There are 5 direct reports and 120+ FTEs. The six member leadership team consists of CEO, CFO, DON, Director of Human Resources and Director of Information Systems. The CEO reports to a five member Board or Directors. The hospital uses state of the art equipment for an array of services, including Anesthesia services, inpatient services, medical imaging, respiratory therapy, emergency, services, lab services PT and Surgical Services.

The new CEO needs to show commitment to the community and instill an atmosphere of open communication and collaboration within the hospital. There are no immediate projects or pending surveys.

The successful candidate will be adept at building strong relationships and skilled in recruitment. In addition, the CEO must be a creative thinker and be able to bring ideas on how to improve reimbursement. A Masters degree with 4-5 years CEO experience (preferably in a Critical Access or rural hospital) is required.

Maternal Child Health Center Nurse Manager

Mid-sized, TJC accredited, non-union, not for profit, community hospital on the eastern seaboard is seeking a permanent Nurse Manager for Maternal Child Health Center. The department is comprised of an 11 bed LDRP, three bed triage area, a Level I nursery and one OR suite. A total of 35 employees staff this department. An average of 55 births/month. Two physician groups for a total of seven OBs provide services to the unit.

A new hospital on the west coast is seeking a regular/perm Chief Financial Officer. This is a 35 bed non-profit hospital with approx. 120 FTEs. The CFO oversees Patient Accounts, Accounting, Materials Management, Facilities Management and Medical Records. The Senior Accountant and Payroll/AP Clerk are direct reports. Fiscal year is Jan1 through Dec 31. This is a hands-on position in which the CFO will prepare monthly financial reports for the Board and Finance Committee, holding departments accountable for budgets, train as needed how to read financial statements and productivity reports. The qualified candidate will have small hospital CFO experience with a minimum of a Bachelors degree. Start-up experience a plus.
